1916 - Der Unbekannte Krieg

1916 - Der Unbekannte Krieg is an odd horror adventure where you play a German soldier during World War I who has to escape from the horror of the trenches ... which won't be easy.

The gameplay happens in first person, as in a shooter. But instead of having to face off against the different dangers you find along the way, your aim is to dodge them at any cost since your character is very emotionally damaged and practically the only thing he can do is run away.

The adventure is very short, lasting only an hour, although this will be more than enough to feel your character's fear and to live the horrors of war. Also, the black and white graphics put through an old filter make the setting nearly perfect.

1916 - Der Unbekannte Krieg is a stupendous first-person horror game with an appalling setting and gameplay that, despite its simplicity, is very fun.
